Design, configure, manage, and monitor diverse technologies tailored to client needs. Design, implement, and monitor virtual environments on VMware, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services. Document standard operating procedures and develop network improvements. As part of team (or individual efforts) designing and managing client networks, conducting security assessments, and implement enterprise solutions. Oversee implementation and compliance for CMMC version 2022, NIST 800, and ISO 27001 data and process standards.

Implementation and oversight of security procedures, strategies, and postures. Managing hardware and virtual components: firewalls, switches, OOBM, SANs, wireless networks, and UPS devices. Daily management of ConnectWise incident and task suites, VPN, DNS protection, and SIEM monitoring. For technical management, regular utilization of TCP/IP, CLI, telnet, ssh http(s) and other management protocols. Regular management of corporate and cyber security vulnerability remediations and forward-thinking certification compliance. Engage in continual professional development through training and certifications, staying updated with IT and telecom advancements. Author and revise automated processes via RMM and PowerShell.

Routine configuration and maintenance work with Microsoft Azure; Azure active directory (including DNS, SSL and SPN), Windows and Linux VMs, resource groups, recovery services vault/Azure site recovery. Administration of Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory; provide Windows Desktop support. Following ITIL processes and methodologies for planning and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk tickets. Schedule and perform on-site client work; provide top-tier consulting services to i4DM customers. Communicate conscientiously and effectively with clients and stakeholders through all available channels: verbal, written, and video. Tireless improvement to environment and work documentation in collaboration with customer stakeholders, security, and application development teams.

Daily operations of and oversight for Office 365/Microsoft 365 Services: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Teams Calling, MDM, Multifactor security, etc. Nessus vulnerabilities remediation planning and implementations. Building, managing, and maintaining servers, software, and systems including domains, controlling servers, print servers, M365 sync, web and database servers, file services, certificates, cloud integrations, backups, and reporting & feature improvements on OSes ranging from Server 2016 to Server 2022.

Managed physical and virtual infrastructure on VMware & AWS for confidential & ITAR data. Monitored critical infrastructure using OpManager, snmp, and custom code snippets. Monitoring via SIEM, antivirus, DNS protections, snmp, and NOC tools including Connectwise, PRTG, Logic monitor, Cisco and others.

Administered Windows Server OS, SAN architecture, and security operations. Oversaw network design, security, and campus monitoring. Administration of Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory; provide Windows Desktop support. Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk tickets and document resolutions. Crafted print management project proposals and request for proposals surrounding commercial and enterprise deployments. Tailored client solutions using, C++, SCCM, scheduled tasks, group policy, and/or PowerShell. Led project implementations, from initiation to environment-specific troubleshooting. Served as escalation point for tiers 1 & 2. Offered high-quality client care, technical planning, and responded to information requests.

Administered the lab environment, consisting of Active Directory, SQL, and key network operations: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and vLans. Server and software assets, including items in and supported by Windows Server (2008, 2012, & 2016) and Windows Desktop (7 & 10). Configured and deployed VMs on ESXi (versions 4, 5, 6 and subversions), vCenter, XenApp, and AWS.

Inventor of the Original WaxWick™ auto-centering wick stabilization technology. Whole-org Customer support. Using creative problem solving for customers and projects I develop and maintain complex projects to assist makers with production process & equipment improvements. Over the last 8 years I’ve helped hundreds of candle makers dramatically improve their processes and reduce some of the challenges of small batch manufacturing.

In this niche part-time product development and sales role, I’ve leveraged my IT skills to gain understanding around and solve problems for boutique product manufacturers. In solving these challenges, I continually grow and develop ancillary skills in areas such as strategy, direction, customer service, etc.
